Hazel and Wifi

One drive I occasionally boot from contains sensitive information. Two things I'd like to do:

1. When booted, automatically connect to VPN and Wifi. Presumably Wifi must be connected before the VPN. If not possible, after the wifi connection, show a warning that the VPN is not connected. i.e. If wifi is on but VPN is not, display a message.

2. I'd like for wifi to be automatically disconnected if there is no user input after x number of minutes. i.e. If no user input the last x minutes, disconnect wifi.

Any of this possible?

This seems like a job for another program. Hazel is meant to monitor and operate on files, which doesn't seem to be relevant here.

I think you'd be able to do something like that fairly easily (well, somewhat depending on which VPN service you use) with Keyboard Maestro.

You can find the app at https://www.keyboardmaestro.com/ and they have a very helpful forum at https://forum.keyboardmaestro.com/
