Extracting movies from subfolders and renaming them

It is doable. Nothing is really different with the subfolder functionality. Without specifics of where things are going wrong (which the diagnostics would point out), I can't really help you.

I'll upload them if you insist it's necessary (and if you can help me with the procedure), but I still fail to see the point of it.

Please notice it's not that something is not working, it's that the limited functionality of Hazel on this regard and its approach to subfolders doesn't seem to do what I need. The rules are woking as they should—the problem is that I need differents rules or something in order to achieve something as simple as my specified goal.

At times I think I'm not making myself clear. :s

No, it's not clear to me where your problem is. Again, you need to provide diagnostics as I can't really see what's going on on your machine otherwise.

As mentioned before, output from the old preview interface. Also, you might want to post your rules in their current state.
