thx for the explanations.

I also want to save files automated by Hazel into certain groups in DevonthinkProOffice.
I tried to add a rule to DT Inbox via Hazel. The rule to rename the files going to the inbox works, but I cannot achieve the above described results. I cannot make Hazel to send files to certain groups in DT.

I use the above described workflow and nothing happens. The workflow consist of "current group" and "add items to current group". I have also tried it with other folders. No result.

When I execute the workflow in automator it says error (add items). Probably because there is no item selected.[img]Bildschirmfoto 2014-07-17 um 09.33.32/img]

Hi pacdan,

You don't say which "above described workflow" you tried, but what I posted above on March 27 does exactly what you're trying to do (if I understand you correctly). Here is a link to my message:

sorry for the late reaction and thanks for your answer
- it works. I created another folder and used the same workflows (rename file, select database and folder in devonthink, remove file from folder) .

The workflow /rules just do not work on the Devonthink Inbox Folder (in the Finder).
