Subfolders - which language? Mon Jul 08, 2013 5:04 pm • by tcgass
I'm using Hazel on my desktop and laptop computer taking care of several tasks. One of them is moving files into subfolders according to their creation date. I've noticed that Hazel sometimes creates folder names in English AND German (i.e. Dezember and December). Both Macintoshs are set up in English...
Where could this come from?

That is indeed an odd error. Is it possible that those files are created in a German timezone? Have you noticed anything German in the metadata?

Are we talking within the same folder name or that some folders have it in English and others in German?

As for settings, in System Preferences, check "Language & Text"->"Region". The setting there is separate from the general language setting.
