Hazel has stopped properly detecting file types

Several of my rules in Hazel have recently stopped working. As an example, I have a rule which prints any document which is added to a specific folder. Nothing has been printing recently. When I went to look, none of the files there appeared in Hazel's list of files which match rules. When I changed the rule condition from "Kind is Document" to "Kind is PDF", it started working. What do I need to do to get Hazel to properly recognize files again?

Thanks very much,
Jeff

Can you post your rules? Also, PDF is a type of Document so I don't know how it could match one but not the other. In the preview, click the "i" button and look at the file's attributes and make sure they are what you expect.

Could you post what happened (in case the other poster hasn't solved his/her problem yet)?

SrDingo's issue seemed different than jeffcovey's to me.

I'm sorry, I've been getting ready to go on a trip. Thanks for your replies. I have a reminder set to investigate further and reply here again when I get back around 5/10.

Sincerely,
Jeff
