Hazel and system performance

Hello!

So far I'm learning more and more everyday and I try to optimize my workflows with Hazel. I love it. But I have one fear:
I read a lot of comments and posts that state that Hazel is very easy on the system but I want to be sure:
Does it make a difference if I set a folder with a rule like:

if folder is older than 2 minutes
if if files subcount is 0

- move to trash

or should I rather work with color labels instead of the 2 minutes rule? As far as I understand it if I apply the rules above, Hazel has to check every 2 minutes if a empty folder is around.
Let's say I add color labels to certain rules that I can circumvent the 2 minutes rule, would this be easier on my system or does it matter at all?

It won't necessarily check every two minutes. It looks at the existing files and calculates from there. Say if all the files are older than 2 minutes, then it won't have any need to wake up unless something is modified. I suggest trying it out and only worrying about it if you notice a performance issue.
