hello there,

I have a macbook pro, with an ssd and a hdd in the place of the optical drive. The good thing is that the hdd is used only for data, and it will shut down automatically if it's not used.

The problem is that if hazel it's turned on, because of the hazel rules, these rules wake up the drive. I'd like to know if i can make hazel work with a lower frequency, for example only once every hour, or every 45 minutes, or something like that.

I also would like to know how to disable hazel boot with osx login.

thanks a lot!!

Could you post your rules? Hazel should only runs when it needs to so if it's running constantly, there's probably something in your rules making it do so.
