I'm puzzled by some, what seems to me to be, odd behaviour from Hazel. If I preview the rules matched on a folder I see a nice list of rules that should run. However if I force the rules to run I see no action has been performed. If I look in the log I see:

I see the same pattern every time. I force the rules to run and the log shows an entry about not being able to create an alias then tells me it is processing a folder and so forth. I've checked permissions and tried manually doing all the actions the rule should do and it all works.
In truth I have been seeing entries about aliases not being able to be created for some time now but the rules usually run so haven't wanted to bother anyone about it. If anyone can give me a pointer, or if I need to provide more information please get back to me. As always, many thanks.
Cheers,
Grant
