Kind is Movie

Would this be like all the video formats or is it just a .mov file?

Most video formats will be 'movie' (e.g. mpeg, mov, avi, etc.)

Most, but not necessarily all. For instance mkv tends to be a problem. It's up to the apps that handle those file types so if the app does not provide a proper categorization, it won't work. mkv is one of the prime examples since most people use a cross-platform program like VLC which does not do this properly. Things tend to work out better when you use a Mac-specific app since Mac devs are more likely to set this up.
