Act on original file of alias?

I'm monitoring a network share where symlinks/aliases (of files accessible elsewhere on the share) are created. I'd like to copy the original files to my local machine, but the copy & sync actions are taking the actual aliases. Is this possible?

I think you'll need to write a script to do that. Hazel copies the actual entities and does not follow aliases/links.
