Before I start messing around with setting up all these rules, I figured I'd ask if this was posible:
I have a laptop where I do a fair amount of downloading from. When I download an album, I add the music to the itunes on my laptop, but it copies the physical file to a networked HDD on my home media center. I used to use Audiogalaxy, which would in turn watch a designated folder and then allow me to stream it anywhere via my iPhone. Audiogalaxy just shut down, and I've found an "ok" replacement in AudioTap, but it only streams what is in the iTunes library, not the iTunes folder.
So here's my question, when I add files via my laptop to the networked HDD, I'd like Hazel to keep watch over the folder on the HDD that is managing both my laptop's iTunes and my Media Center's iTunes (they use the same HDD so as to have a backup of my library). Which means keeping watch on the iTunes>Music folder and drilling down into newly added folders or newly updated folders (in the case of adding to a similar artist, or a compilation) and auto importing those audio files into iTunes.
If Hazel can't take automatically generated new subfolders, then I feel I may be at an impasse and have to find a new music streaming app...
Thanks for the help!
