One rule, multiple folders?

I have a feeling this is one of those "duh" questions, but I'm not seeing the answer either in the interface or on the forum. Is there a simple way to apply the same ruleset to more than one folder? TIA!

If the folder is a sibling of the folder with the rules, you can try monitoring their common parent and using the subfolder rule (see sticky article up top).

Otherwise, you can copy rules by just dragging them from one folder to the next. Make sure the drag cursor shows a + sign (to indicate a copy instead of move). If you don't see it, hold down the option key to force it to copy.
