Move/Copy Files Then Delete Their Parent Folder Wed Aug 08, 2012 11:48 am • by abbimj
I've read the sticky topics but need some help.
I start with PARENT/FOLDER1/FILES
And I want to end up with the FILES in FOLDER2 which is on NAS, then delete FOLDER1 & the copy of the FILES still remaining there.

Every rule I've tried moves FOLDER1 and the FILES to FOLDER2, but I do not want to move FOLDER1.

Thanks in advance!

Read the sticky on subfolders again. It will do what you want (unless I'm misunderstanding your description). Also, remember that doing a copy and deleting the original is the same as doing a move.
