Strange rename behaviour when using date created twice

Not sure if this is a bug but I'm puzzled by the renaming files behaviour using the date created pattern twice in one rule.

When applying the pattern 'Company (date created #1>) YYMMDD - Subject (date created #2>) MMMM+1 YYYY' the year-patterns seems to influence each other.

The result will either be 'Company 120424 - Subject May 12' or 'Company 20120424 - Subject May 2012'. I can't rename it to 'Company 120424 - Subject May 2012'.

Anyone else who stumbled upon this?

Edit: Even more confused. I have created another rule with slightly different conditions but same rename syntax and this one is working as expected.
Just to make sure I triple-checked and rerun it on my test file. Still the renaming issue. Disabled this rule, duplicated my working one, edited the conditions and now it's working. Maybe it's just a glitch after to many edits of a single rule using the trial and error method. Lesson learned.

Was the old rule duplicated a while back from a previous rule? There were some issues with duplicating rules in the past but I can't say for sure if that's what it was. If you still have the rule, export it and email it to me and I'll take a look.

Quit possible. Recently I picked up where I left off some time ago (more than a year). Meanwhile I've come across some other issues that turned out to be my own wrong doing. Deleting the rule and starting over usually does the trick so I'm afraid I don't have this perticular rule anymore. Thanks for the offer though.

I've had the same problem that davale described with Hazel 3. This problem didn't exist with Hazel 2. (No, this wasn't a duplicated rule or an in-place upgrade or anything like that. Hazel 2 is running on Mac #1. Hazel 3 is running on Mac #2. Separate environments.)

In Hazel 2, when I use the "Date Created" pattern, each instance of the pattern was independent. In Hazel 3 they influence each other, just like davale described.

Mr Noodle, please let me know what I can do to help you troubleshoot this.

There is a bug now where if you click the tokens to add them, they result in the same instance. Try dragging them into the field instead.

Hello, has there been an update on this bug?

Yes, it should have been fixed a couple versions ago. Update and report back if you are still having the problem. Note that this only fixes it not happening again. It won't fix tokens you already created this way.
