loaded beta 3 and now nothing works

i made a mistake and tried to download beta 3 and use it

first thing that happened was it said that i don't have a license,
then it gave me a preferences error

i deleted beta 3 and tried to reload what i had originally,
it still said i don't have a license. then i tried to reload
my license and it didn't acknowledge it. then the license
file disappeared out of thin air. then i tried to delete
everything and reload the software, but it still give
an error message saying

"preference error
cannot load hazel preference pane"

moral of the story is don't try and help software developers out
by trying their beta version it only gives you problems and headaches

Please read the article where you downloaded the beta. It has instructions, including not to post outside of that forum about the beta as well as a possible fix for your situation.
