Does Hazel generate .DS_Store files?

I have Hazel running on a file server at the moment. We've noticed that Spotlight seems to get hung up on .DS_Store files and we'll have to manually go in and remove them.
We've already wiped out all .DS_Store files and disabled .DS_Store file creation from networked user accounts, but we notice that somehow, .DS_Store files are still being created.

Could these .DS_Store files be generated from Hazel?

Hazel does not create those; Finder does. It's an unfortunate design on Apple's part but that's the way it is. Anytime you view a folder in Finder, that file will get generated.
