Note and description popup section

Great app and am having a blast learning to go paperless, thanks kindly :=) Been watching MacSparky's Field Guides and reading your User Guide.

I write a lot of notes in my code/scripts, so that I can later try to remember what I actually did that day.

Part of my setup (hopefully) will be to auto-enter the text captured by Hazel into my FileMaker bookkeeping DB, via AppelScript.

As my Hazel rules are growing, I'm trying to keep notes in each for future proofing. Firstly, thanks for the little Note popup in the top right hand corner. My challenge is that whenever I select a rule, the note is hidden.

Question:
Is there any way of seeing it in another layout maybe, where it is always visible?

If not, silly feature request :=)
Might you please add a settings option, where the note field is maybe always visible below the Revert and Save buttons in the three column layout, would be greatly appreciated? Just for us old guys with slowing memories.

No way to have it always showing but adding your request to the feature database. Thanks for the suggestion.

I can definitely see the appeal of having the note visible while working on a rule. I also tend to put little reminders in scripts and automation rules, especially when the setup gets more complicated months later.

A persistent note section in the rule editor would be useful, particularly if it could be toggled on/off in the preferences so it doesn't take up space for people who don't need it. Even just having the note accessible without opening a popup would make reviewing a large Hazel setup much easier.

Hopefully the developers will consider it as a small quality-of-life improvement. And I agree, anything that helps future-us remember why we created a particular rule is a win.
