- When I attempt to make Hazel's window smaller, the columns auto-resize unpredictably. This would be fine if the resizing happened logically. However, one column might become very narrow, obscuring half its contents, while another column becomes much wider than necessary.
- Furthermore, if I try to manually adjust that very narrow column, it will be locked and won't budge. The only way to unlock the column adjustment is to widen the entire Hazel window. When I do that, one of the other columns (not the narrow one) will instantly widen for some reason; it's as if the columns are set to snap to alignment with some invisible grid.
- The most maddening aspect happens when I go to widen that very narrow column, which is now unlocked. In this case, the narrow column is the middle column, "Rules." Dragging the right side of the column widens it as expected, but inexplicably, the left column, "Folders," also gets wider, making that column too wide.
- The only time I'm able to freely adjust column widths is when I make the Hazel the full width of my screen.
I searched the forums and found only one thread addressing this topic, but it didn't provide a solution to my problem. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Are there any workarounds or tips to manage column widths more effectively? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
