Can the info parsed from a PDF be exported?

I'd love to be able to scan my pdfs like utility bills and pay stubs and capture the data that it scans. So I can use the OCR tools in Hazel to get the bill amount and the date and rename the file with this information, but what I'd really like to do is scan the file use the info to rename, but also save the parsed date to a csv file.

Is something like this possible or is there another program that can do what I'm looking for if it isn't possible?

Hazel does not have any actions to write out to files. You will need to accomplish that via a script of some sort.

Thanks, after I posted I thought about it a bit more and it's beyond my ability, but I thought it's possible to pass the parsed info to a script to write to a csv file. I was hoping there was an easier way to do it in Hazel, but it's still a great product. Thanks for the fast reply.
