In System Settings, go to "Privacy & Security"->"Automation". Check both Hazel and HazelHelper and see if the are enabled for Finder.

Following up for guidance. Not the biggest issue but I'd like it to work.

Are you willing to run a test build? If so, email in to support as I'd like to add more logging.

Hello!

I'm evaluating Hazel v6.0.4 before purchasing. I did a standard install and gave Hazel the folder permissions it requested.

Experimenting with rules seems to be working great, but so far I've been unable to test "Revert" because I can't find that command listed under "Quick Actions" in Finder (when I right click on a file name that's been processed with Hazel). Only "Markup" is listed. I've also looked in all of Hazel's menus and menubar and I don't see "Revert" listed anywhere.

I'm running an M1 Pro MacBook Pro and Mac OS Sequoia 15.4.

Under "Login Items & Extensions" in System Settings, I see:

"Allow in the Background" - Hazel is listed and it says "2 items".
"Extensions" -> "Finder" - Nothing associated with Hazel is listed.

I don't see Hazel listed under "Automation" in System Settings.

I DO see Hazel listed under "Allow in the Background".

In the terminal, the "xattr" command for a file processed by Hazel lists:

com.apple.lastuseddate#PS
com.apple.macl
com.apple.provenance
com.apple.quarantine
com.noodlesoft.Hazel.RevertData

Any suggestions on how to get "Revert" working is appreciated.

Thank you,

John L.

It should be in Login Items & Extensions->File Providers.

As with the previous poster, if you are willing to run a test build, please email in to support.

Under "Login Items & Extensions" my MacBook Pro doesn't have any sections or entries called "File Providers".

Yes, I'm willing to run a test build. A message has been sent through the support contact form on the Noodlesoft website.
