Organising Photos - Duplicated / Nested Folders Problem

Here is what I need help with:

I am trying to set up Hazel to organise my Photos using the automated function. I am using the Hazel (Date) EXIF to sort the folders out.

I have this process:

“Magic Folder” – This folder gets all the folders dragged into it. It then strips any images and sends them to another folder called “Organised Media”.
Rule 1. Sends Images to Organised Media Folder
Rule 2. Sorts it into Year.

Once they are in Organised Media Folder I have Rules set up for each year, 2005, 2006 etc. to sort these into Days.
Rule 1. Sort into Days.

However, I am noticing that I have a problem whereby I have Nested SubFolders.

I want to fix this so that in each year the folder subdepth is only 1 and or folders aren’t duplicated (one within another for example 01/11/2024 and then inside 01/11/2024.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alternatively, if there is another way of doing this, I am more than happy to hear you out.

It appears you might have a loop. The rule you have to sort into subfolders, does it happen to match the subfolders you are creating? If so, then you need to change that rule to not match those folders.
