I have been using this rule for years on a daily basis. Just cloned to a new computer and now Hazel won't recognize xlsm. Any thoughts?

I'm using OS, Microsoft 365, up to date.

First off, please don't post support questions to the Forum/Site Discussion forum. That is for issues regarding this site and not Hazel.

As for your issue, what does it say when you click on the red X for the Kind condition?

Do you have an app installed that handles xlsm files?

Yes. I use Microsoft 365 Excel.

Isn't that online? You need a local app for the system to know that xlsm is an Excel file.

It started working again. I ran a check on it using Spotlight and Alfred to confirm or deny your thought that MS 365 wouldn't find it because it is online. I was able to find a file I saved today that matched my rule. And the rule fired as it was suppose to do. I didn't make any other changes...

Thank you for your response. It looks like the problem has resolved itself.

I have been a Hazel owner for several years now and it is one of two programs that I love and would not live without.
