Can I have Hazel automatically import calendar files?

macOS 11.1

Is there a way that I can have Hazel automatically import a calendar (ics, vcal) file into the default system calendar without going through the process to "open" the file in the calendar program (preferred to be Fantastical in my case) and saving the calendar item?

I'm not aware of any way to add things directly to the calendar from an .ics file or any other way. I have a rule to open .ics files in Fantastical.
