Erratic activity

I’m having trouble getting Hazel to work with any consistency lately.

I’ve had Hazel installed for almost two years, and it worked great until the Snow Leopard upgrade last fall. Since then, it sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.

For example, I have a rule set up to watch my Downloads folder for PDF and text documents and move these to a different folder. This rule (and others for the Downloads folder) will run when I choose “Run Rules Now…” but it doesn’t run automatically.

Any help?

I can't tell anything without the logs. Go to the "Info" tab and click "View Log". Feel free to post anything here that may be relevant (or you can email it as well if the information is sensitive).
