Multiple instances of a folder (On the left part)

I was wondering if it is possible to have multiple instances of a folder.

For example, I have rules on a folder (folder A) which i use as generic storage for files that i first download. They move music and movies to appropriate folders. These require hazel to "run rules on folder contents," but at the same time I also have rules to unzip rar files in this same folder. Therefore hazel will unzip files that are inside folder in folder A.

So do I just have to create different folders? Or is there a way to get the "run rules on folder contents" rule to ignore certain folders, or some other solution.

Thanks

You can add any conditions you want to the rule that does "Run rules on folder contents". It's a rule just like any other and will only apply itself to files/folders that you specify in the conditions. Most people just use "Kind is folder" to match folders but there's no reason why you couldn't add extra criteria. You can do it by name or by a color label or by a special comment you add to the file. How you want to identify these folders is up to you.
