I've got a desktop and a laptop which have rules synced between them. The desktop gets the bulk of my Mac usage. Am I missing a method whereby the rules can be synced between the Macs but also be disabled on one Mac (the laptop in this case)?
If it helps, I'll explain the situation in more detail. A folder is monitored by Hazel, and when any files are added to that folder Hazel runs a rule on each file which hands off the file to Keyboard Maestro for generating emails with the file. This typically happens once a week, as the files are customer invoices. All fine up to here. But for those rare times I use the laptop, the Hazel rules then re-run on that folder of invoices on the laptop and thus emails are created in Mail on the laptop.
So I then spend time deleting draft emails which are open in Mail. There's no harm from this—it's not like emails are being re-sent—but it's something I'm hoping to avoid having to do each time I use the secondary Mac.
