Dropbox constantly syncing

All of my monitored folders are on dropbox. My dropbox is constantly syncing due to hazel running even if there has been no change to a file etc. This using a lot of CPU and slowing machine down.

Is there a rule that could be utilized that would stop hazel from running on a file or folder if the file or folder has not changed? Basically just looking for a way to not have dropbox constantly syncing. I've tried having run at intervals but prefer another method if possible. Not sure how else to stop this constant syncing other than turning hazel on and off or pausing the dropbox sync.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I suggest checking the logs to see what is happening. If Hazel is constantly running, then chances are something is generating file events.

I have a set of tagging rules for folders sub folders etc. Thats what seems to be causing the issue. At least I think. Suggestions?
