Changing "Linked To" Folder Name

Good Afternoon!

I am new to Hazel, and have a quick question that hopefully someone can help me with.

I have created a number of rules that are working very well, but I would like to change the folder name that these rules look into to run the action I have defined. If I change that file name (found in Dropbox), will I then have to manually change to the new name in my rules, or will that magically happen automatically. Just curious before I dive in...

I assume you mean the folders referred to by your rules, not the folder being monitored? In general, Hazel should track name changes as it stores aliases to folders but depending on circumstances, it may not work. Unfortunately, I can't say whether it will work for sure but you can always rename it back if necessary.
