Deleting files within subfolders Sun Nov 19, 2017 6:19 am • by MisterG
Background: I have a series of rules that move all folders from 3D printing sites, unzipping if required, to a general 3D printing folder.

Several of the folders, from the same site, have two folders containing the required files, a readme.txt, an attributions.html and a license.txt file. The latter files are not needed and are often the same. I would like to start at the top level and dive through the subfolders, looking for these two files. If found I want to delete them.
Attached is the rule I tried, but it ended up deleting the whole folder! I have been using Hazel for AGES, but never tried something as complex as this. Any pointers would be welcome.

Thank you

Search the help for "subfolders". That should describe what you need to do.
