Get Hazel to copy locked files and folders form dropbox

As the title says, when a folder or file is locked (it shows a little padlock icon on the upper left) that file or folder can't be copied, synced or moved by Hazel.
This sounds valid in OSX terms.
But how can you get the locked flag off of such a folder (and all subfolders and files within it) so Hazel can copy, sync or move.
I think this has to be done with some sort of Applescript, but that is out of my expertise.

The folders and files I'm referring to are shared folders (with files) on Dropbox.
I can't change the locked status as long as these files are on dropbox, but when I copy them manually to, say, the desktop I can change the locked status.

Can someone help me with this, or point me in the right direction to get this fixed?

Is this locked status normal for Dropbox? Seems a bit odd. As of now, Hazel will not process locked files at all. I guess in the future, I can look into relaxing that where it will try and process and fail when attempting to do things like move or rename (copy should be fine).

Unfortunately, I can't think of a good solution for now short of not locking the files in the first place.

Mr. Noodle,

Thanks for your reply.
The locked status is also new to me.
It is a curated folder that receives new content every other day, and deleting the content that was already in before. Why it is locked, I don't know.
There are more web services that rely on delivering content via dropbox, but I have never seen them locked this way.
Think I need to get in touch with the owner of this service to see what can be done about it.

Any updates on copying locked folders/files from Dropbox? Unfortunately, I have no control over whether or not they are locked in the first place. Copying the folders does not remove the lock.

In a perfect world, I'd be able to drill through all the locked files and pick anything out that was modified after a certain date, and copy it elsewhere to import it.

No changes as of this moment but I'm looking into it for a future release.
