TO part > sort to 2 different folders - possible?

Hi,

Is it somehow possible to have a single rule, checking for multiple attributes amongst others A & B, and >
in the TO part,
> move to folder A depending on presence of attribute A
> move to folder B depending on presence of attribute B

I think it should be possible with minimal scripting,
but would prefer if it is possible within the GUI of Hazel.

That would require two different rules. Not sure why you need it in one. Also, what happens if a file contains both A & B?

Question is purely hypothetical. So the scenario of A + B present indeed needs a specific solution.

I only just start to get going with Hazel and am thinking about a 'total solution' for tackling the paperless issue.
It starts out as 'a couple of rules' to capture 'most' recurring paper, then you start to think further and think about gradually elaborating, so I'd need a 'catchall if not fitting any previous rule', and build additional rules from there.

For me, to keep it more or less manageable, I need some 'visual' logic from left to right stepping through rules, and sorting from e.g. stage 1 > stage 2 > stage nn.
So I was already missing subfolders in the preferences pane.

That also leads to wishing / trying to integrate as much into 1 rule instead of doing it in multiple steps.

Just my thoughts.

It doesn't always make sense to put it all into one rule. You can use tags as a way to specify various stages. Also, look at the "Continue" action.

It also might be more helpful to provide more concrete examples as many times the hypotheticals proposed obscure the real issue.
