I'm trying to make a snapshot of a folder at 1 and 14 day intervals. Syncing doesn't work in this situation because if there's a problem with the root folder you essentially sync your problem to another location. Therefore, I modified the sync rule to look at 'Date Last Matched'. I have a rule for Date last matched "is not in the last" 1 day and a separate one for 14 days. The 1 day rule seems to be working but the 14 day rule doesn't. Is my thinking correct here, or is there a better way to accomplish this?

What happens after 14 days? Does it fire after one day again and then another 14 days after that?

Also, have you looked into using the Current time attribute to have it match on a schedule instead?

It doesn't fire after 14 days. I thought about it and I guess the "Date Last Matched" is never greater than one day so "Day 14" wouldn't work. Correct?

I'm trying the 'Current Time' attribute now. Assuming my assumptions on "Date Last Matched" are correct, it may not work. Thanks for your help!

You'd have to reorder the rules since if it's greater than 14 days, it's also greater than 1 day. If the 1 day rule is first then it will always match that. Reversing them should get you the behavior you want.
