Hazel not reading mp3 tags on podcasts

I've been trying to run a sorting rule based upon artist and album. Unsuccessfully.

Finder sees all the attributes; Authors / Album

Hazel does not;

Any ideas?

Try using the rule preview. Click the badge for the attribute you are trying to match on and see what it shows there.

If I do that, I get only 'kind' matching;

I've run through,
(1) the 3 different 'artist' tags
(2) the 2 different 'album' tags
(3) the 'author' tags

- all give a blank, even the preview gives a blank.

I can see that the finder see's the tag info via 'get info' - but Hazel does not.

iTunes sorts it properly, additionally, ID3 Editor shows that the tags exist on the podcast in both v2 and v1.

- so as a process of elimination - I'm thinking Hazel is not reading the tags on Podcasts.

Sorry, thought you were using those attributes in the conditions. For testing purposes, add a condition for Author and see what value it shows when you click on the badge.
