Rule matches when it shouldn't Fri Sep 23, 2016 4:52 pm • by nikivi
I have a rule to prefix folders :

However it matches folders that it shouldn't :

It sholdn't match the first condition as folder starts with 'g. '

Same happens in another rule I made. It adds a prefix where it shouldn't :

Very strange. Please help me understand why that happens.

Hazel is really powerful but I just don't get why some recursions work and some don't (like lowercasing everything, hiding extensions).

Thank you for any help.

Everything after a dot is considered the extension. Everything up to that dot (but not including it), is the name. In this case, you want to use Full Name instead of Name.
