Change path for multiple rules

Since Apple finally moved the regular Documents folder to iCloud Drive, I am considering to change my current file structure. Is it possible to somehow change the paths for concerned rules without manually updating each rule? (e.g. if I move my current "Contracts" folder from iCloud Drive root to the Documents folder, I will need to change the respective path in all rules that move files to the Contracts folder.)

Unfortunately, yes. There's no way to change folders en masse.

I figured out that you can actually move the concerned folders, and the system will keep the identity of the folder. So apparently (I am still testing it) every rule concerned will stick to that folder and will not break, as long as you move the existing folder to a new location. So it seems it is not necessary to change anything in Hazel.

Yes, you can try that. Hazel keeps aliases to the folders. It's just that sometimes the aliases break so if it works for you great.
