Excel to PDF

Is there a way using hazel and either AppleScript or Automator to turn an Excel spreadsheet into a pdf? For some reason, the Automator action of "convert format of Excel files" returns with the error "Error while printing". I'm either doing something completely wrong or there is a problem with that Automator action.

Does it work outside of Hazel? If not, then I'm not sure if I can help there. If it works outside of Hazel but not in Hazel, then turn on debug logging (see the sticky article at the top of this forum) and see if there are any extra errors in the logs.
