Can't get my head around this... Delete files after a day?

Hi all,

Just can't get my head around this. Need a rule that deletes every file on external hard disk that is NOT in a folder and IS older than lets say 26 hours (after creation/added date).

I think I'm good with the first line, but I don't know what to select in the second one (and possibly third, if it's required).

Could anyone help?

Look into doing something like "Date added is not in the last 26 hours". Also, I assume you meant "is not a folder" and not "NOT in a folder". Except for the root folder, everything is in a folder.

I meant in that directory where Hazel is looking at, I want to delete only files that are not in folders. Is that still the same as you pointed it out or it should be something different?

I'm not understanding then. All files are in a folder of some sort so I'm not sure how you are trying to distinguish these files from others.
