Depth of Scan

Don't know how to phrase that, there is probably a better way. I'm having trouble getting a date to match. I can not figure out what is wrong, all my other pdf matching rules work perfectly. The only difference I can see is this particular document puts about a page of fine print ABOVE the date. There are no dates in it, but I imagine it has to slog though all that before it hits the first instance of the date. Is it possible there is a limit to how deeply into a pdf Hazel will dig?

There shouldn't be any such limit. If you are having problems with the match, open the file in Preview, select the text, and then paste it into a new TextEdit document. That should show you the raw text. It may be the case that the text is in a different order or that there are odd characters or spaces in there.
