Moving folders to new location

Hello:

I would like to move my folders to a new location i.e. out of dropbox to locally stored. However i have a ton of hazel rules attached to some of the folders i want to move. My question is, will hazel be able to detect where i moved those folders to and without changing the rules or do i need to change the rule for each folder i move? Thanks in advance.

Hazel will try as it uses aliases to track folders. That said, it doesn't always work so be prepared to have to fix things manually should that be the case. I'd export the rules as backup just in case.
