Hi Im new to Hazel and to applescript I love the potential of what both can do for me but I do not know where to start.

I want to start by creating an automated way of scanning my credit card statements having hazel turn the scan into an OCR (using an applescript?)(with abbyfine reader possibly, I have a trial version of this)
Then renaming the scan and such a Credit card providers name date of statement

Please help I've searched through but I really don't know where to start with this.

Thanks

James

Search the forums as there might be a script to automate using abbyfine reader. Alternatively, you can check their forums/support for an AppleScript. The rest should be doable using Hazel's built-in functions. Search the help for "match patterns" to get started. Also, you can check the Buzz page (https://www.noodlesoft.com/buzz) which has various articles that may help.
