Custom date token returns todays date

Hi, what I would like to do is search a PDF of my payslips and use the pay date to rename the file.

What I have done is a search with one of the conditions being "Contents contain match PAY DATE: ºDate". I would then like to use the date found with the token to rename the file "Payslip ºDate".

The date is found, but when the file is renamed it uses todays date instead of that on the payslip. Is there a way to force it to use the same date? In the rename action I have reselected the ºDate token from the dropdown menu, thinking it would copy across.

I'm not sure if I follow you with the date token being in a dropdown. Can you post your rule?
