Import to Lightroom

There are 3 “import" actions available in Hazel, (Import to iTunes, Import to Photos and Import to iPhoto) and this is fine but I would like to be able to Import to Lightroom—can anyone help with how to do this please? thanks.

There is no built-in action for that so I suggest looking into either Automator or AppleScript to do what you want. You can try searching here, or the net at large for such a script.

How about just having Hazel copy the files from Photostream/iCloud/Dropbox to a named folder inside the folder Pictures?

True, you'd have to then tell LR to copy the files, but this would at least solve the awkward Copy to LR then delete from the phone which also deletes photos from Photostream.
