Is it possible to attach a sound to a notification?

Subject says it all really! I already have notifications when actions are accomplished working fine but would like a sound to be added to it to draw my attention. Thanks for any help.

There's no way to set a sound on the notification action itself but you can use an Automator workflow or AppleScript to do it yourself.
