Hi there,

I have created a rule that transfers mp4 files from my downloads folder to my external hard drive. However, I'm having a few issues. Firstly, I can't figure out how to trigger the actual transfer after the mp4 has finished downloading (at the moment it transfers the file mid-download).

Also, once the file has been transferred I then would like the file to opened (or added) to iTunes so it appears in my library. I have tried using the 'import into itunes>to playlist' and tried the 'library' and 'movie' options but neither has worked successfully.

I was wondering if anyone could provide any suggestions on how I might get this to work.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Kind Regards

Aaron

I don't have much experience with it but it's usually up to the downloading program to provide indicators so that Hazel won't move files while they are still being downloaded. You should check for an option where completed files are moved elsewhere and have Hazel monitor that instead of monitoring an active downloads folder.
