Difference Between Extension and Image Types

I have a rule that moves, renames and Tags my Photos, however if I use Extension is CR2 the rule does not work... if I use Image is Canon Raw Image, it works... why is this?

You'll need to provide the rule you are using as well as the names of some of the files that aren't matching. Also, I believe you have been emailing support. Please limit your queries to one place or the other so I can avoid typing out answers twice for the same thing. Let's continue this in email since we've already started there.
