Rules match, but are not executed?

hi guys,

everything worked fine for days and weeks, but since a few days HAZEL doesn't execute matched rules. Sometimes rules are executed hours later, sometimes on restart only once.

any idea? i hope we get this solved. thanks!

Rules match in folder "ANFRAGEN" but are not executed. Rules are run manually All other rules in all other folders (Dropbox folders as well) work fine!

Try the following:

- Rename the folder and then rename it back.

If that doesn't work then:

- Export the rules for the folder.
- Remove the folder from Hazel.
- Add the folder back in.
- Import your rules back in.

Report back if it's still failing.

hm. looks like i was thrilled to early. did only work once.

i have the same situation as before:

What happens when you add a file to that folder? Do you see any activity from Hazel for that folder? Is there anything about that folder that is special (Dropbox? Network drive?)?

That folder was a DROPBOX folder. I moved to the folder locally, then had the hazel rule on the local folder and then move it back to the DROPBOX one. Works Thanks for the hint!
