Hi,
I want to rename a folder and its contents recursively.
My rules look like this:
This way only the folder get renamed. If I swap the rules only the contents get renamed!
Any ideas?
Thanks

Only one rule can match so you need to add a condition to the "Kind is folder" rule to also do the rename. If a folder is matched by "any file" (that matches everything), then it won't get to the other rule, and vice versa.

Thanks, I tried that; Hazel won't do it, if the folder gets renamed before (or after) the "run rules on folder contents" action.
Running the same rules again on an already renamed folder works though!

Oh sorry, I made an unrelated mistake! Everything works as you described! Thanks!
I will test more thoroughly next time before posting
