Adobe Illustrator file creation date

Hi,

I get hundreds of various corporate logos from various clients. Sometimes they are the same, sometimes they are different. For instance, I could get the same Kraft logo from six different people and I want to make sure I use the most recent version.

So, I am wanting to rename my Illustrator files to end with their creation date so I can easily see which version is newest. I can get it to rename it with the "Date Created" in the Finder, but I want the actual date the file was create from the info within the XML info. Is this possible?

I don't know about Illustrator files, but I suggest selecting the "Other..." attribute and then going through the list there and seeing if any of those date attributes line up. Also, select the file in Finder and go through the "More Info" section to see what dates it has available.
