Is it possible to set up a rule so that all files downloaded this month are sorted into day folders, but after the month changes they are sorted into monthly folders?

eg. desired layout:

2008-04
2008-05
2008-06-01
2008-06-02
:
2008-06-18
2008-06-19

then when we hit july:

2008-04
2008-05
2008-06
2008-07-01

I have managed to do the daily change, but I am stuck at the monthly change. I think I'd need a way to specify "Last Month" as a date/time option?

In the 2.2 beta, there is "This Month" which matches the current calendar month (as opposed to the last 30/31 days). You could try doing something like "If Date Added is before This Month".

If you want to give the beta a try, hop on over to the beta forum for details. Keep in mind it is beta software so I suggest trying it on some test files/folders. Also, post any follow ups there.

I only move files, so the "damage" is not so serious.

Will let you know how I get on, though initial impressions let me get nearer to my goal but not quite there (yet?)
