I am using hazel to organize files with some potentially private info. My question is, does Hazel send any info to a server, or are the files processed by the program itself? Thanks.

All processing is done on your machine, except for some specific cases. The Upload action, for instance, will have to send information to the server you are connecting to. Also, if dealing with domain names, Hazel may use DNS lookups.
